Karl Lagerfeld Brand Launches First Architectural Project in Spain
The Karl Lagerfeld brand is venturing into the architectural and luxury residential sector with its first project, Karl Lagerfeld Villas. The project will be launched in Marbella, a municipality in Malaga, marking the brand’s debut in Spain. The project will consist of five luxury villas, showcasing the brand’s commitment to luxury and sophistication.
Project Details and Collaborations
The project, named “Karl Lagerfeld Villas Marbella”, aims to reflect the eternal passion of its designer for architecture, interior design, and innovation. The Spanish developer Sierra Blanca Estates will bring the project to life, while Karl Lagerfeld will provide creative direction, branding, and design. The One Atelier, a real estate studio specializing in luxury brands, will also support the project.
CEO Statements on the Project
Pier Paolo Righi, CEO of Karl Lagerfeld, expressed his delight at seeing Karl’s vision of luxury and passion for architecture come to life in this unique residential project. Carlos Rodriguez, CEO of Sierra Blanca Estates, also shared his excitement about the collaboration and the opportunity to leave a lasting mark on Marbella. Michele Galli, CEO of The One Atelier, highlighted the project’s focus on circularity and nature while maintaining a premium lifestyle.
Unique Features of the Villas
The five villas will be enveloped in wood and a reflective synthetic ceramic material finished with white gold dust, creating a modern design that sets them apart from other homes in the region. The landscape will play a significant role in the overall appearance of the villas, with the site offering views of the sea and surrounding vegetation. The villas will be designed to blend colors and scents inspired by the gardens most visited by Karl Lagerfeld himself.
Sustainability and Technical Details
The project will prioritize low carbon construction and sustainability. The villas will be built using a mix of wood structures and highly insulating and innovative materials. Each villa will be oriented to optimize exposure to the sun and the landscape. The villas will also feature large portions of vegetated roofs and courtyards, solar panels, and rainwater recovery tanks to optimize energy consumption and supply the needs of the property.
Project Size and Impact
The Karl Lagerfeld Villas Marbella will occupy a total area of 9,670 m2. The project will contribute to the area’s biodiversity by planting a total of 300/350 trees, thereby reducing CO2 emissions. The prices of the villas will be available on request.
