Costa del Sol’s Premium Real Estate Market Gains Momentum
The luxury real estate market in Costa del Sol is experiencing a surge. Areas such as Sotogrande, Casares, Estepona, Benahavis, Marbella, and Ojen are witnessing a rise in development and property prices. The Agency Marbella has compiled a report detailing the top projects currently available for purchase in the region.
International Investors and High Price Range
The report highlights the significant proportion of international investors who are buying these properties as primary residences or for profit. The high price range of premium properties in this area is also noteworthy. Most projects fall within the €1 to €3 million range, with some exceeding €3 million and reaching up to €6 million. Some projects even surpass the eight-figure mark at €10 million.
Investing to Generate Billions
The Costa del Sol is investing hundreds of millions of euros to generate billions, according to the agency. The study features 20 active developments, collectively valued at over €3.2 billion.
New Villa Developments
Among the new developments are the Karl Lagerfeld villas, designed by the German designer’s brand. This collection includes five high-end properties, two of which have already been sold. They are located on Marbella’s Golden Mile and cover a total area of 9,670 m².
Lamborghini Homes in Benahavís
Another noteworthy development features 53 homes created by the Lamborghini brand in collaboration with DarGlobal, located in Benahavís. These properties are priced between €3.6 million and €9.5 million.
Finca Cortesín Complex in Casares
In Casares, the Finca Cortesín complex features two luxury housing developments. Golfside Villas and Green 10 offer 16 homes priced between €4.5 million and €7.7 million, while the Caledonian Villas include six single-family homes starting at €5.4 million.
Premium Projects in Palo Alto (Ojén)
In Palo Alto (Ojén), two other premium projects have been built. A larger one called The Gallery, with 30 villas for a maximum of €3.6 million; and The Collection Camojan, which has fewer homes – five in total – but higher prices, between €7.4 and €8.3 million.
Residential Flat Complexes
The UNO Beach Residences project is still under construction, although the 50 flats that will make up the seven-block complex on Marbella’s Golden Mile have already been sold. Several flats are already being resold at prices ranging from €5 million to €19 million.
Dunique Residential Complex
Another residential complex is on Playa del Alicate (Marbella), where 96 luxury flats are being built under the name of Dunique. Only 15 units remain for sale for between €2.4 million and €5 million.
The Sapphire in Estepona
Another development, The Sapphire, offers 15 beachside properties in Estepona. With only three remaining, they are priced between €1.8 million and €3.3 million.
Palo Alto Gated Community in Ojén
In Ojén, the prestigious gated community Palo Alto features four buildings – Los Pinsapos, Las Jacarandas, Los Almendros, and Los Eucaliptos – comprising 160 homes. While most have been sold, the remaining properties are priced between €800,000 and €1.6 million.
La Loma Project in Finca Cortesín Complex
Within the Finca Cortesín complex, the La Loma project resembles a small village with 88 flats. Although they are not currently available, reservations can be made starting at €2.6 million.
Premium Buildings
The report also features complete buildings like the Sierra Blanca Tower on Paseo Marítimo Antonio Banderas (Málaga). This 21-storey tower includes 73 flats priced between €900,000 and €4.5 million.
Tyrian Beachfront in Estepona
Another complete building, Tyrian Beachfront, located on Estepona’s shoreline, features 40 high-rise villas starting at €3.4 million. Though the project is still under construction, over 40% of the homes have already been sold.
