The Flag, a renowned German hotel chain, has selected the Costa del Sol as the location for its first luxury hotel concept in Spain. This concept is unique as it combines luxury accommodation with wellness services, offering a holistic experience to its guests.
Estepona Welcomes The Flag’s New Venture
The hotel, situated in Estepona, Malaga, opened its doors in the spring of 2023. However, it has recently expanded its services to include professional wellness programmes. These programmes, available since April, encompass functional diagnoses, nutritional assessments, and personalised physical exercise plans.
Collaboration with London Clinic Marbella
In addition to its wellness programmes, the hotel also boasts a spa and offers cutting-edge non-invasive beauty treatments. These services are provided in collaboration with the internationally acclaimed London Clinic Marbella, founded by John Corbett, which is conveniently located within the hotel’s premises.
A Holistic Approach to Wellness
Rüdiger Hollweg, the general director of The Flag Costa del Sol, explains that the hotel’s holistic approach aims to provide more than just physical fitness. It seeks to offer a comprehensive rejuvenation experience that caters to multiple facets of wellness.
Accommodation Options at The Flag Costa del Sol
The four-storey hotel offers 78 rooms of varying categories, ranging from classic studios to luxury suites. The rooms, which have surface areas between 50 and 70 m2, all feature a kitchen and a balcony or terrace. The more exclusive units offer stunning views of the Mediterranean.
The Flag’s Global Presence
For the past 14 years, The Flag has been developing and managing residential facilities for students, young professionals, and retirees in several countries, including Germany, Switzerland, Spain, and the USA. The chain’s current portfolio includes 19 units with more than 2,500 apartments.
